The updated ECCSEL ERIC Infrastructure Development Plan (IDP) is being developed in the ECCSELERATE project. An important focus in the ECCSELERATE project is to close research gaps that is a barrier for industries to implement CCUS technologies. Part of this is the implementation of the ECCSEL ERIC research strategy. The ECCSEL ERIC research strategy assess the future development needs in research and innovation to enable ECCSEL facilities to meet future user requirements for access to innovative, globally leading CCUS technologies.

During the event the audience got an insight into the development process of the updated IDP that will be completed at the ECCSELERATE project end. The current IDP has been developed in consultation with ECCSEL facility owners, and it is important to have industry onboard when developing the revised IDP to address research needs even more complete.
